Easy chairs
The Schulz Easy Chair, designed by Otto Schulz in 1936, is famous for its luxurious, voluptuous design. Featuring a generous seat and a wide, curved backrest. Extremely popular in Sweden in the 1940s, this iconic piece was originally produced by Boet before being taken over by Swedish furniture manufacturer Jio Möbler in 1941.

Otto Schulz (1882-1970), interior designer and founder of Boet, the famous Swedish furniture company, was a pioneer of modern Scandinavian design. Moving to Sweden in 1907, he founded Boet in 1920, creating functional furniture inspired by Nordic aesthetics. His Schulz Easy Chair, emblematic of the 1930s, combines simplicity and opulence, making its mark on design history. His legacy lives on today, with his pieces still prized for their distinctive style.
