Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) was a renowned French designer born in Paris. Trained at the École Camondo, he is famous for his almost fifty-year collaboration with Artifort, which gave rise to iconic pieces such as the Mushroom Chair and the Tongue Chair. His style, influenced by modernism and the Eames, has left its mark on twentieth-century design. His creations are exhibited in prestigious institutions around the world.
